Teads are looking for an Industry Director for the CPG/FMCG sector to join our Strategic Accounts team based in Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin or Munich.

This new position offers an exciting opportunity to become a part of a dynamic and pioneering company in the field of full-funnel digital advertising solutions. The Strategic Accounts Team is a key driver of growth within Teads and we have strategic partnerships with many of the world's top brands in all the key verticals in which we operate. Based on this success we wish to step change our focus within the CPG/FMCG sector building on some recent big wins in this vertical. The Industry Director needs to have proven experience of digital sales within the CPG sector and their primary responsibility will be to cultivate and enhance both existing and new relationships and partnerships, leading to revenue growth, with the most prominent clients in the CPG industry.

In addition to your work with CPG brands, you will collaborate closely with our Agency Sales teams around the world to manage high-level media agency relationships across your portfolio of brands. You will be seen as a true expert in your field of CPG advertising and expert to upskill all local sales teams at Teads on how best to grow partnerships in this sector.

You will report directly to the Managing Director of DE and your role will be instrumental in contributing to the senior team's development of an advertiser-first strategy.

Role

  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in a client organization (marketing, brand, media, e-com) to help them address their challenges in digital media and find better ways to leverage their media investment
  • Serve as an industry expert to drive success for the CPG vertical by developing thought leadership and best practices for leading Consumer Goods, Grocery Retail and Consumer Health clients
  • Be an advocate for Teads' Advertiser-First strategy by aligning client priorities with Teads' Omnichannel solutions around Creativity, Media, Data and Measurement
  • Leverage Teads's Omnichannel capabilities building on strategic conversations with advertisers, lead and manage business projects associated with both global or local Joint Business Plans to drive meaningful results in a mutually benefiting way
  • Lead cross-functional team efforts to provide relevant resources to high-profile clients including Teads Studio, Insights and Data
  • Draft and execute account strategy and planning to facilitate strong client growth
  • Partner with the Agency Sales Team to lead discussions with Agencies and support their best work for strategic clients
  • Establish and nurture C-level relationships with Agencies, contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Teads’ products and services.

Experience

  • Strong understanding and background of the CPG industry in Germany including relevant experience collaborating with advertisers in that field
  • Excellent digital media business acumen - especially in online video, display, performance and CTV - ideally coming from an agency or client background
  • Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision-makers and find strategic angles for growth
  • Proven experience to build long-term, sustainable partnership growth including the ability to influence investment decisions with strategic consulting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in German and English
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives as a team
  • Proven track record of results delivery and ability to convert business from other media channels
  • A self-starter – passionate, high energy and enthusiasm, creative, resourceful and adaptable, able to find solutions to problems whilst delivering a high standard of work
