To meet this demand, we are looking for passionate technologists to join our growing Industry Solutions Team, a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team. Our objective is to align MongoDB as an industry solution and ensure we understand enterprise clients and their needs to modernize software legacies, transition to modernized solutions, and guide them through continuous data-driven modernization. 

One of the functions of our team, as Industry Solutions, is messaging the direction of MongoDB’s platform as a part of a solution to specific industries. This is done in the form of content creation, industry-focused demos (such as our team’s usage-based insurance demo), and leading projects that help drive forward accounts (such as sales enablement, account workshops, internal newsletters, etc.). 

Although we have a team of Specialists focusing on industry specific work, this specific role will be cross-industry with a focus on helping us with our team’s content planning, generation, and management. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a communications/writing background and technical experience, interested in the business solution space, to dive deep into a cross-functional team and be part of one of the fastest growing companies. 

We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn fast and is able to understand the technology we work with, communicate it in a language our clients use, and work with our global Industry Solutions Team on their projects, taking into consideration the different focal verticals. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Barcelona for our hybrid working model.

• You help generate/deliver content, such as blogs, videos, webinars, thought leadership, assets for MongoDB events, etc. that communicates the business value of MongoDB as a leading industry solution
• You partner with the rest of the Industry Solutions team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises (i.e creating content specific to accounts in order to drive opportunities.)
• Assist in team support of sales through enablement, with activities such as sales assets, demos, trainings, proof of values, presentations, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across a number of sales opportunities in parallel
• Because we are a cross-functional team, you act as a liaison between our team and Marketing, Sales, and Product, playing an active role in MongoDB’s Go-To-Market Strategy
• You proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices
• Enjoy the ride because we’re growing fast!

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the tech sector, or relevant technical experience in other sectors
• Strong experience with technical writing, copy-editing, and proofreading
• Native speaker English level, both written and spoken
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries, technologies, and tools
• A balance of technical knowledge as well as communication/presentation skills
• A foundational knowledge of data, data science, data analytics, and/or data engineering (you will become more of an expert on the job!)
• The ability to project manage high-stakes/highly visible projects and work with multiple stakeholders effectively
• A pro-active, detail-oriented self-starter with the drive to learn new skills
• The ability to travel up to 15% in normal circumstances for tech events, team shadowing, team events, MongoDB events, etc. 
• A strong sense of team-work working towards a common goal with process-oriented skills

• Outstanding writing skills, and understands content from a marketing perspective (how to make content “shine”!)
• Proficiency in more than one language
• Some experience with databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers or database vendors
• Some experience with database programming and data models 
• A MongoDB Certification 

• Working in a fast paced tech company and being integrated into a “can-do” team where responsibility for your own work and intellectual honesty are crucial
• The rapidly expanding MongoDB product suite, including
• Atlas (fully managed cloud database service)
• Atlas Search
• Realm Mobile Databases and Solutions
• Other tools and connectors
• Exposure to a wide variety of market verticals and a broad spectrum of interesting use cases.
• Cross-industry tech modernization understanding
• Understanding of product and program management in a fast moving tech company
• Process thinking, planning and project management skills
• Sales engagement models, sales qualification in a global company
