THE ROLE
Key responsibilities
The Information Assurance / Security Manager is a vital role within Agilisys and this role will allow you to be part of a team responsible for assessing, approving, and advising on all information assurance and security matters for Agilisys and our clients.
Specific duties
Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:
- You will be part of a team responsible for assessing, approving, and advising on all information assurance and security matters for Agilisys and our clients.
- You will be part of a team responsible for implementing, maintaining, and providing subject matter expertise on information security management processes to ISO 27001, supporting internal and external audits, and owning continuous improvement efforts for Agilisys and our clients.
- You will be part of a team responsible for implementing, maintaining, and providing subject matter expertise on multiple security standards, frameworks, and certifications applicable to the UK public sector including Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS DSPT, PCI DSS, NCSC CAF, PSN CoCo etc.
- You will perform risk management activities.
- You will perform internal audits and compliance checks.
- You will support supplier due diligence efforts.
- You will support secure design and change management processes for Agilisys and clients.
- You will support security incident response for Agilisys and our clients
- You will work with project and programme teams to identify solutions to security challenges that they might encounter, to ensure that information assurance, security and compliance is maintained
- Oversee and report on the vulnerability management efforts of client teams
- Foster a collaborative approach by building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, both within Agilisys and with external partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge and experience of information security management (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
- Customer focused and influential, with a high desire to drive results
- Knowledge and experience in security risk management.
- Knowledge and understanding of technical security controls in an IT environment
- An understanding of Incident Response for security incidents and events
- Awareness of data protection principles and compliance
- Confident written and oral communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to shaping the future of public services.
Advantageous
- Experience within UK public sector including central and local government, healthcare, and blue light services, or a large organisation.
- Experience working with relevant technology stacks i.e. Azure, M365, MS Security Stack, AlienVault
- Information security certifications e.g. CISM, CISSP, CCSP or other relevant certs
- Information security auditing experience
- Being located reasonably close to our Weston-Super-Mare office would be highly advantageous, being located reasonably close to any of our other offices if not.
