Your missionRivada Space Networks GmbH is at the forefront of building the world's first global low-Earth orbit communications network. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Security Engineer to lead our Corporate IT security initiatives, with a particular focus on implementing and maintaining a Zero Trust security model. You will play a vital role in protecting our sensitive data, ensuring our infrastructure is resilient, and guiding our organization toward the highest standards of cybersecurity.This includes:
- Zero Trust Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and refine a comprehensive Zero Trust security architecture for Rivada Space Networks' Corporate IT environment
- Design and enforce granular access controls and micro-segmentation to protect critical assets
- Continuously assess and improve the Zero Trust framework's effectiveness to adapt to evolving threats
- Security Operations:
- Run and manage security updates and patches across all corporate IT systems and applications
- Administer Microsoft security solutions (Defender, Intune, Azure AD, etc.) within the corporate environment
- Configure and maintain VPN (Virtual Private Network) infrastructure for secure remote access
- Oversee Zscaler cloud security platform, ensuring web filtering, sandboxing, and data loss prevention for corporate data
- Manage and monitor firewalls to ensure proper traffic filtering and intrusion prevention for corporate networks
- Device Security:
- Establish and enforce security baselines for all corporate devices used within Rivada Space Networks
- Develop and deploy device configuration policies to maintain a secure environment for company-issued devices
- Regularly audit device configurations and remediate vulnerabilities to protect corporate assets
- Security Awareness:
- Collaborate with the Corporate IT team and other departments to promote security awareness across Rivada Space Networks
- Conduct training sessions on security best practices and Zero Trust principles tailored to the company's specific needs
- Develop and distribute educational materials on phishing, social engineering, and other threats relevant to the space communications industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 3+ years in IT security or a similar role
- Proven experience with Zero Trust implementations (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security solutions and Cloud Security
- Hands-on experience with VPNs, Zscaler, and firewalls is desired
- Experience with endpoint security and device management.
- Certifications from CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or other relevant security certifications are a plus
