About the role:

Oliver Agency is searching for a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Account Director to take the lead on our client's Global Business Travel account. This is a pivotal role for an experienced, proactive individual with a passion for driving client growth, delivering exceptional service, and fostering strong relationships across multiple stakeholders. As part of this fast-paced, high-profile account, you'll play a key role in ensuring creative excellence, strategic development, and operational success. You'll manage key client relationships at the senior level, owning the account's strategic direction and guiding a talented team to deliver top-tier creative and project solutions. What you will be doing:

Client Leadership & Relationship Management: 

  • Build and nurture deep relationships with senior-level clients at our client's organization, becoming their trusted partner for all business growth and strategic development opportunities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients on all out-of-scope projects, ensuring that Oliver is always aligned with the client's business vision and KPIs.  
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth, focusing on how Oliver can add further value to the client's business objectives and challenges.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple levels, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between Oliver and the client's teams. 

Strategic & Creative Excellence 

  • Take ownership of Out of Scope (OOS) projects, leading them from inception to completion with an unwavering focus on quality and timeliness. Lead the creative and strategic development process for the client and for all OOS campaign work, delivering standout work that meets both client goals and internal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure all creative output pushes boundaries, stays on brief, and exceeds client expectations.
  • Drive key strategic initiatives, including the implementation of Pencil, data-driven solutions, and new operational models to enhance service delivery and results. 

 Operational & Commercial Management 

  • Work with the Business Director to ensure the financial health of the account. Be responsible for accurate scoping for OOS projects, budget management, invoicing, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis of account performance, using insights to inform future strategies and improve processes. 

 Team Leadership & Development 

  • Guide the professional development of your team, ensuring they are aligned with the client’s business objectives while advancing their own career growth within Oliver.
  • Work in partnership with the Design Director and the Senior PMs to create a positive, forward-thinking environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.  
  • Work closely with operations and strategy teams to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality outputs that elevate the account’s reputation.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience in managing complex, high-profile accounts. Adept at driving multiple projects forward with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Client Expertise: Able and willing to develop an in-depth understanding of  the client’s business, their brand vision, and customer objectives. Ability to align our output with their strategic direction.
  • Strategic Thinker: Excellent at connecting business strategy with creative solutions, always focused on delivering work that meets client objectives.
  • Commercial Acumen: Financially astute, with experience managing large budgets, scoping, invoicing and billing processes.
  • Creative Judgement: You have a strong eye for creative excellence and a passion for delivering innovative, high-quality work that pushes boundaries.
  • Effective Communicator: Articulate and confident in both written and verbal communications. Capable of presenting ideas persuasively and handling negotiations with ease.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive attitude, always one step ahead in anticipating client needs and resolving challenges. 

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 8+ years of experience in account management within the creative, marketing, or advertising sector.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-value accounts with a focus on business growth and creative excellence.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines and geographies.
  • Deep understanding of 360-channel delivery across all media platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Experience in B2B would be beneficial
