The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

We see ourselves as a co-pilot of our business leaders and partner collaboratively with the entire organization, to enable data-driven decision-making by providing thoughtful analysis and insights. We are seeking a highly motivated Integration Specialist (d/f/m) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part evolving our finance system landscape and processes and thus contribute directly to Personio’s growth journey.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Integrations: Build, improve and manage different interfaces between existing business systems (e.g. Salesforce, Chargebee, Workday and others)

  • Data Governance: Implement our data integration strategy between multiple tools, making sure data structures can be consumed by multiple stakeholders

  • Reporting: Create new custom reports involving complex logic and calculations

  • Continuous automation: Assist the functional finance teams by continuously driving automation and addressing process inefficiencies

  • Documentation: Ensure data flows and finance processes are documented in a structured manner and aligned with internal guidelines

  • Project Management: Coordinate external service providers to ensure on-time and in-budget deliverables

  • Release Management: Support with Workday Update cycles by researching upcoming features and functionality, understanding impact on current integrations, leading and documenting test efforts.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar

  • You have gained at least 5 years experience in designing, building and testing integrations between cloud-based business systems for human resources, finance or planning (e.g. SAP S/4Hana, Oracle Netsuite, Workday or similar)

  • You have experience with web services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST or similar)

  • You have hands on experience with XMLs/XSLTs and are familiar with SQL (regardless of flavor)

  • Writing code in Java or Python (or similar) as well as setting up workflows (e.g. via Airflow or Luigi) comes easily

  • You have an affinity for IT and data, good analytical skills and a structured and independent way of working

  • You show a high willingness to continuously and actively develop your knowledge

  • You are fluent in English (Level C1/C2); German and any other European language are nice-to-have
