The Tripadvisor QA team works closely with product managers and developers on a daily basis, adhering to the company's "speed wins" philosophy of getting things done quickly and efficiently. With new build releases every two weeks, QA works under an aggressive timeline to ensure the app passes all requirements before release to the public. QA is also responsible for testing updates, functionality changes to the app, and the implementation of new features during the developmental process, prior to making it into the Release build.

LOCATION: This position is available for remote work throughout Croatia only.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing across multiple platforms and formats (automated testing a bonus)
• Experience testing mobile apps
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies
• Passion for defining and improving QA practices
• Fluent in iOS and Android device functionality
• Ability to write and run test cases based on detailed technical spec
• Ability to write clear, concise bug reports
• Well versed not only in critical path testing, but edge case as well
• Experience working with JIRA
• Sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work well with cross-functional groups in a flexible environment

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with team lead to address all app testing concerns
• Perform manual testing, including exploratory, system, regression, compatibility, and integration testing for Native Ops
• Complete the weekly Production and Release Candidate test runs on iOS and Android platforms
• Work with devs to create, implement, and edit comprehensive test plans that include test cases that support the issues, system, updates being tested and review tests to determine outcome
• Perform Formal QA requests
• Updating/editing test cases and test runs
• Assist dev teams with reproducing reported issues
• Testing native apps across all cycles, from dev to Release
