Intern, Global Onboarding & Operations (m/f/x)

Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and onboarding new suppliers. Our fast-paced and talented global team is on a mission to conquer the US and European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the world. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

The Global Onboarding & Operations L0 entry level role provides a mix of project management, business analysis, strategy design and implementation in cross-functional collaboration with global teams. We achieve our goals through meticulous project management, process improvement and execution focus. In addition, you will help to make decisions on the most appropriate tools and levers required to onboard committed suppliers and set them up for success at Wayfair.

What You'll Do

  • This role will focus on onboarding new suppliers inbound and outbound meeting our requirements for success, using various project management - and automation tools
  • Use data to analyze and interpret processes & progress, constantly help to improve working flows to increase efficiency & output and develop incremental business
  • Work within a global, dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin and Boston contributing to the company’s targets
  • Work alongside global cross-functional stakeholders to identify new process improvement options and potential blockers, develop solutions & roadmaps together with your peers and execute on them

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in German and English
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality 
  • Comfortable in a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment
  • Articulate, polite and structured communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong process orientation and very efficient and self-organized ways of working with strong ownership mentality
