Your role and your team: 

We are looking for an intern to join us as we embark on the start of production of our eVTOL jet! You will report to the Head of Production Planning & Control and work closely various departments like Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Production, and Procurement.

The Production Planning & Control (PP&C) team provides the process & technology solutions that connect logistics, warehouse, and production factories to meet production requirements and business targets.  This is team providing the link between teams to enable rapid prototyping and early technology development and demonstration projects.

Your Day to Day:

• Take part in the operational workflow to execute serial production activities
• Support collaboration between PP&C, Logistics, Procurement, and Production to speed up our business processes
• Contribute to the design of future series production steering and material supply
• Generate and initiate improvement activities to increase efficiency, transparency and communication to reduce costs and waste
• Perform daily operational production control activities through proper prioritization and management of tasks according to internal customer needs
• Support projects by performing research, analysis and actively managing stakeholders
• Drive problem solving and provide sustainable solutions

About you: 

We are looking for a student in Production Processes, Supply Chain or a similar field of study or relevant major.  Good planning skills and the personal confidence to allow you to work with multiple, varied stakeholders around our business.   

An independent worker who loves to solve problems and come up with ideas for improvements - transferring ideas into practical realities.  You should be a hands-on person who enjoys taking the initiative. 

Practical experience in manufacturing or engineering would be preferable but any working experience where have applied planning and customer (internal or external) interaction skills would be valuable. 

 IT Skills

• MS Office (esp. Excel, Power Point, Word)
• ERP / MES Systems are beneficial

English language fluency is required, and German language is beneficial
