The Laboratory Testing department is responsible for component, system, and aircraft level tests. Our teams develop rigs and run tests that facilitate research, development, and certification in the technology areas propulsion, batteries, structures, and electronics.

In this role, you will work in the Propulsion Testing team, which is responsible for preparing and conducting tests on the propulsion system. We collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the most effective testing approach for our product.

Your day to day:

  • Support test setup preparation (data acquisition systems, cabling, sensors, etc.)
  • Contribute to test methods development
  • Programming custom made scripts for data post-processing and test report automation
  • Test data postprocessing using existing tools and/or custom made scripts
  • Support laboratory maintenance and inventory
  • Constantly learn new things about our test articles and the way we test them – and share them with your team members.
  • Work on any ad-hoc projects or tasks.

Your profile:

  • Student with excellent academic record pursuing a degree in an Engineering or other STEM discipline
  • Understanding of elementary Propulsion System and Electrical System fundamentals
  • Hands on experience in testing and other R&D activities
  • You are curious and have a ‘learn and grow’ mindset.
  • Target-oriented workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 6 months full time is required.
