Intern - Supplier Inventory Management

EU SIM works with Suppliers and Supplier Relationship managers to ensure availability and forward positioning of inventory for all Wayfair accounts. We provide our inventory management expertise to our internal partners & suppliers to prevent going out of stock . In this role, you’ll use and sharpen your analytical skills to prepare data analysis that drive business decisions that  support Inbound inventory strategies and our supplier’s Availability.

What You’ll Do- Use data analytics tools to analyze and optimize past performance and suggest inventory strategies for our suppliers- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with internal partners and stakeholders- Develop a scalable way of managing large number of suppliers’ analysis - Manage efficient inbound inventory flows, including forecasting & Prioritization- Develop strategies for priority initiatives and lead implementations to strengthen supplier Availability

What You’ll Need- Strong desire to take ownership and calculated risk in a fast paced and changing environment- Quantitative skillset including business and data analytics, Excel, SQL, GBQ; ability to operate with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and a desire to improve processes- Fluency in English- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment- Enthusiastic, with proven ability to quickly get up to speed
