Your role and your team:
As a Systems Engineering intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary department of Systems Engineering responsible for the safety, reliability, maintainability, human factors, and the systems engineering for the design, development, verification, and certification of the aircraft systems as well as the technical publications and serviceability aspects of it.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager for Systems Engineering & Architecture and be supporting other teams in the department, as needed. You may be deployed to the project organisation to support dedicated activities or work within the department to support functional activities.
Your Day to Day:
· Work on the back-end development of ALM and MBSE tools
· Generate data in the ALM, PLM and MBSE tools
· Participate in iterative system deployment to support generation or reports
· Work on authoring of processes
· Work on producing processes guidance material or training
· Work on implementing systems engineering processes
· Analyse current way of working and propose potential process and tools improvements
· Participate in defining KPI to measure adherence to systems engineering processes
Your Profile:
· University degree in a STEM field is required
· High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously is required
· Good communication and collaboration skills is required.
· Knowledge of Systems Engineering best practices is a plus
· Knowledge of V-model product development life cycle model is a plus
· Knowledge of ALM/PLM Systems such as Siemens Polarion or Teamcenter is a plus
· Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering languages and tools such as SysML, Capella, Enterprise Architect is a plus
· Knowledge of system safety assessment, reliability, maintainability, technical publications or human factors is a plus
