Intern Industrial Engineering

 

Your role and your team: 

You will report to the Head of Industrial Engineering and will work closely with our Industrial Engineering team, which is responsible for the overall design of our production system. This includes factory planning, equipment development and set-up of digital production systems. In this role, you will support these activities to ramp-up our production system.  Your Day to Day: 

  • Work with factory planners to design factory layouts, simulations, and production processes 
  • Perform data analysis and develop and improve shopfloor dashboards 
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for the factory set-up 
  • Support setting up a Preventive Maintenance System 
  • Work closely with Equipment Engineers to develop factory equipment  
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders  

 Your Profile: 

  • Industrial, Production or Mechanical Engineering student or equivalent 
  • Excellent academic track record and past industrial internships in related sectors such as manufacturing, consulting or construction firms 
  • High level of self-reliance: work independently and self-motivated 
  • Proficiency in Python, BI software, DES software is a big plus 
  • Hands-on mentality and good communication skills  
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a drive to challenge the status quo 
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus 
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months full time
