We're looking for an International Benefits Specialist to help deliver an exceptional experience to our employees and internal support stakeholders. As a part of the People Care Team, you’ll be responsible for analyzing and answering escalated and complex Benefits inquiries from employees across the organization. You will ensure queries escalated from our Tier 1 employee support team are resolved timely, liaison with our Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) and other People Team partners to manage external Benefits vendors, and ensure all related employee-facing content remains relevant. This is a full time, remote eligible position.

What you’ll do:

  • Respond to complex, employee Benefits cases primarily via our Zendesk case management system.
  • Manage benefits administration for international (non U.S.) benefits programs including new hire benefits enrollment and termination processing for select countries, preparing payroll files, leave of absence intake, benefits billing and invoicing.
  • Act as a liaison between our People Care Front of House (Tier 1) and Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) teams to resolve escalated benefits issues within our established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
  • Educate our People Care Team and employees alike on the many Benefits options and programs available to them.
  • Create, edit and maintain knowledge articles, playbooks, etc. related to Benefits operations to ensure employees and teammates have access to the latest information.
  • Partner closely with Benefits COE to manage benefits programs as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure optimal employee experience and engagement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven benefits administration experience (3+ years).
  • Background working in an HR shared services support environment (2+ years).
  • Experience using Workday and HR ticketing/knowledge systems (e.g. Zendesk Guide preferred).
  • Excel proficiency, especially using VLOOKUP.
  • Actively contribute to delivering, maintaining and improving HR services, procedures and processes to increase employee satisfaction, while driving performance and achieving standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Effectively, efficiently and compassionately interact with cross-functional team members, employees and managers and manage stress with grace.
  • Actively contribute to delivering, maintaining and improving HR services, procedures and processes to increase employee satisfaction, while driving performance and achieving results.
  • Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with sensitive and confidential employee information, always keeping compliance top of mind. 
  • Independent management of daily work while continuously looking for ways to scale and enhance our services.
