Inventory Lead - Nights

This role is responsible for leading and managing the inventory team of stock controllers and inventory coordinators to ensure uninterrupted production on the night shift pattern . Responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating inventory activities, optimising inventory processes, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing a large team of Colleagues on the shift on Rota to ensure that the shift KPIs and daily task are completed and met.
  • Support the Inventory Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control, including daily audits and distribution of Ingredient , packaging /labels materials.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy. 
  • Support with the goods in order to ensure minimal delays for production. 
  • Coordinate, track, and provide analysis regarding waste /damaged and returned to supplier material and management of the quarantine area of chiller and production area
  • Lead by example by solving problems and assisting in daily tasks and ensuring all tasks are completed by deadlines
  • Strong shop floor presence

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience in inventory management.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Location: Derby, DE21 7HW

Work Schedule: Night Shift pattern; 7pm to 7am 

42 hours per week, 4 on 3 off, Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday
