The purpose of this role is to manage and be accountable for the inventory related activities of HelloFresh New Zealand’s warehouse operations

You will…

  • Lead, train and develop a team of 15 inbound and inventory staff
  • Create a performance focused culture to deliver against KPI’s, mainly weekly stock usage, Impairments, FIFO and expired stock management.
  • Seek to continually improve  inbound, dispatch and stock control processes and identify areas of potential weaknesses
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and reconciliation.
  • Conduct investigations into stock  variances to discover root causes and driving process 
  • Hold teams accountable for process adherence.
  • Develop, document, and implement procedures and processes to establish best practices for inbound and inventory control 
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams for efficient capacity use
  • Manage and execute weekly cycle counts and annual stock counts
  • Maintain and improve processes for returns and waste
  • Manage pallets and crates stock movements
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address issues and uphold customer satisfaction. 

You have…

Knowledge

  • Proven experience in inventory management, leading teams and process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and implement actionable strategies
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
  • Computer literate (Google sheets, Strong Excel (pivot/v-look and Warehouse management systems) 
  • Forklift license a bonus or be willing to get a forklift license

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Warehouse, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Ongoing professional and personal development. 

Experience

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience working in an FMCG environment

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand.
