We are seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Lyons, IL Distribution Center, who is responsible for ensuring the flow of goods in and out of the Warehouse is handled in an effective and optimized manner.

1st shift--Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

You will...

  • Lead and execute daily cycle counting process for inventory compliance 
  • Drive compliance of inventory product storage standards
  • Take responsibility for on hand products and their physical and systematic locations
  • Pick daily orders according to priority to meet or exceed Production Goal
  • Research daily variances and determine root cause
  • Be flexible with other projects as they surface, fostering a team dynamic and can-do attitude
  • Meet or exceed inventory goals for picking, shelving, and accuracy
  • Teach and train new employees in inventory processes
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Understand and adhere to all safety requirements

 

You are...

  • Motivated: Strong work ethic, works with a sense of urgency, and motivated by meeting team and individual goals
  • Experienced in order fulfillment, fulfillment support, order picking and all inbound/outbound mechanisms
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Problem solver with accuracy and a high attention to detail
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Able to work while standing and walking and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to operate equipment such as forklifts

At a minimum, you have…

  • Minimum One Years of Warehouse experience, Food-Industry Is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software is a plus
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
