Lilium, the designer and manufacturer of the world’s first electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) Jet, is in search of an experienced and highly organized Investor Relations Manager.

Given the growth trajectory of the company and  its global presence (registered in the Netherlands, headquartered in Germany and publicly traded in the US on the NASDAQ), the advancement possibilities for this role are substantial and likely rapid. This will be a remote role, ideally located in the Eastern Time Zone in the US. Must be time flexible to accommodate European Central Time on rare occasions.

Your Day to Day: 

  • Support Investor Relations Operations activity
  • Create and establish formal processes and procedures to enhance and provide best-in-class servicing to investors and internal stakeholders
  • Organize and lead the day-to-day tasks of the team
  • Stand-up a CRM system (3rd party vendor search), and implement processes and procedures to maintain investor accounts, contact information and history
  • Manage shareholder voting processes and custodian questions
  • Manage high-level projects with key internal stakeholders in a knowledgeable and clear way
  • Proactively provide transparency to internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver routine investor communications such as voting ballots, investor press releases, earnings calls, shareholder letters, etc (May be asked to assist in preparation of such materials)
  • Respond  in a timely manner to daily investor inquiries as assigned
  • Ensure clients receive the highest level of service in response to any query or interaction
  • Assist in Investor Relations and Corporate Development events such as Roadshows, Industry Conferences, Earnings Calls, Capital Market Days, Investor Field Trips to HQ,  Airshow coordination, etc
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Corporate Development, Compliance, Legal, Operations and external stakeholders including Bankers, Auditors, etc
  • Operate independently and become a key backup to both the Head of IR and Director of IR Operations

Your Profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2 yrs. of experience in Client Services/Investor Relations for a publicly traded company listed in the US, or in a quantitative/analytical role
  • Detailed oriented, analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, natural curiosity, and rigorous work ethic are prerequisites
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must
  • Previous management experience preferred but not required
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Creative problem solvers who can prioritize multiple tasks, shift priorities with changing demands and meet deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with investors as well as cultivate relationships with personnel across the firm
  • Self- starter with strong project management and follow through skills
  • Capacity to discretely handle highly confidential (material non-public information) and sensitive information
  • High proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Office
  • Experience with CRM and IR systems preferred (Salesforce, IR Insight, Q4, etc), but not a must
  • Open to travel (both domestic and international)  about 5-10% of the time
