Role Description

In this role at Dropbox, you will focus on enhancing the Dropbox mobile application for iOS, integrating innovative encryption technology and maintaining our Dropbox Passwords feature. As an iOS Software Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with Android and other mobile engineers to ensure a seamless cross-platform experience. This position offers the unique opportunity to lead in the realm of password management and encryption features, driving user-centric developments that contribute significantly to the security and usability of our global user base. You'll be instrumental in shaping impactful projects, working within a diverse team and playing a key role in the technological evolution of Dropbox's mobile offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Build intuitive features to improve the experience for mobile users.
  • Improve the mobile codebase by working on foundational issues and helping to rearchitect, as necessary.
  • Work with your team to promote best practices and ensure a high quality bar is maintained.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers and other groups to design thoughtful new features.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong engineering skills and software fundamentals in developing on iOS
  • Experience working with large native code bases with significant complexity
  • A passion for building consumer applications with elegant and clean interfaces
  • Experience developing, testing, shipping and supporting a product for hundreds of thousands of users is a plus
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional groups

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). 

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):zł19,600 - zł23,000 - zł26,500 per month. Dropbox applies increased tax deductible costs (50%) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
