We are looking for a hardworking, innovative Co-Sell Manager, ISV with great energy, passion and initiative to drive aggressive Co-Sell revenue growth and channel new business for the fastest growing and most popular database on the planet, MongoDB.  

Reporting into the Sr. Director of Ecosystem Alliances our ISV Co-Sell Manager will be at the forefront of empowering a high-impact portfolio of Independent Software Vendors and Technology Partners who work with our Developer Data Platform. You'll immerse yourself in their businesses, become fluent in their sales language, and become a force multiplier for our Sales Teams. The ISV Co-Sell Manager  is responsible for creating and executing strategy with cross-functional teams that deliver strong value to the ISV, our joint end customers and MongoDB.

Our ISV Co-Sell Manager should have a proven track record of building and nurturing exec-level relationships with software customers, a hands-on approach to develop new opportunities, technical acumen, and the ability to close business in a fast paced work environment.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram office for our hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Generation - Identify and source opportunities through the portfolio of ISVs. Understand their key players and business requirements to drive mutual success. Scout out practical, repeatable areas of success to replicate throughout the region. Drive new and existing customer demand
  • Partner Sales- Partner with key ISVs to supercharge joint sales efforts. Align ISV, Cloud and GSI Sales teams to fully grasp the value of joint sales and how to engage effectively. Make yourself known internally as the go-to person for developing and closing joint opportunities
  • Partner Management - Assist in implementation of high-impact programs for ISV partners that elevate brand awareness both internally and externally. Educate ISVs on what it takes to achieve success within our partnership. Ensure ISVs receive recommendations for opportunities and deliver exceptional results
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration- Mobilize resources within MongoDB. Leverage MDB Sales, Marketing, Technical teams, and other ecosystem partners to deliver exceptional value through your ISV partnerships
  • Vertical Integration- Connect industry-specific ISVs with our Industry Solutions teams. Drive joint go-to-market and co-selling opportunities alongside MongoDB field sellers
Skills Requested
  • Team Player: Energetic, upbeat, and entrepreneurial team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Proven Sales Acumen: 3+ years experience generating pipeline and selling through Cloud Partners, VAR’s, SIs or ISVs, in a heavy sales matrix model. Demonstrated ability to meet quota, present value proposition, and facilitate account connections
  • Effective Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technology's business value
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Skilful at forging and maintaining relationships, including engaging with C-level executives
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise software, SaaS, databases, and cloud computing
  • Project Management: Proficient in directing cross-functional teams and processes
  • Goal-Oriented: Consistent achievement in competitive sales environments
  • Sales Methodology Training: Previous training in methodologies like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
  • Passion for Growth: Eager to advance your career in the software database market and knowledgeable about MongoDB products
  • Quick Learner: Aptitude for rapid learning and establishing credibility
  • Educational Background: College degree preferred but not mandatory, depending on other qualifications
  • Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing joint business plans with partners and enterprise sales teams
  • Resourceful and Tenacious: Resourceful and tenacious approach to opening doors and navigating sales challenges
  • High EQ: High emotional intelligence (EQ) and self-awareness for effective relationship-building
