IT Data Engineering Masters Intern (2024)

Are you excited about using data to solve business problems? As a Data Engineering Intern of the IT Data team, you will build and deliver data solutions and products to influence decision-making for our business teams. You will use the best practices of data engineering and analytics to build scalable and data pipelines and data products. As a data engineer, you get a close understanding of how a hyper growth company utilizes Data and AI to drive business innovation and efficiency.
The impact you will have:
- Work with the IT Data team to roll out new data driven capabilities to help business teams such as HR, Finance and Sales.
- Participate in full Development Lifecycle: design, development, testing, optimization, documentation and operations in production environment.
- Build data pipelines, solutions and products with a high degree of reliability, scalability and security.
What we look for:
- You will graduate in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 with a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or Information Systems.
- You have implementation skills with programming language such as Python, Java, or C++ and querying language such as SQL.
- You have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and OOP principles; experience with distributed computing and data science is a plus.
- You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team.
- You are excited to solve unique business problems and participate in a collaborative team environment.
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
