The Role: What’s in the Box

As an IT Helpdesk Specialist (internally referred to as IT Engineer) within our Benelux Operations tribe, you will join a hands-on, fast-paced team responsible for keeping hardware and software across our production facility, office, and logistical hubs running smoothly.

You ensure every colleague, whether on the production floor or behind a laptop, has the tools, access, and support they need to succeed. From onboarding and troubleshooting to device configuration and lifecycle management, you play a key role in maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment.

You will work with device management solutions (MDM) to enroll, configure, and maintain company hardware, manage access, deploy software, and support provisioning and deprovisioning processes. To hit the ground running, you are comfortable working with corporate tools such as Google Workspace, Azure (Entra ID), Slack, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).

Beyond resolving day-to-day issues, you continuously look for ways to improve workplace technology and support processes, bringing HelloFresh’s values of Speed & Agility and Learning Never Stops to life.

You will be based at our Bleiswijk Distribution Center five days per week, with occasional travel to our logistical hubs across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do: The Recipe

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support for our Distribution Center and Logistics Hubs, resolving hardware, software, onboarding/offboarding, and access-related issues.
  • Manage and improve our Workplace Technologies, establishing best practices and defining new service standards.
  • Partner closely with Business Operations, DC teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to diagnose issues and deliver timely, practical solutions.
  • Lead and complete technical projects that enhance operational efficiency and have measurable impact on the business.
  • Maintain and optimise our tools and platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Azure, Atlassian Suite), ensuring logical configurations and accurate documentation.
  • Proactively improve and automate IT processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and smooth collaboration within the team.
  • Support occasional hardware-related needs on the DC production floor, ensuring system continuity in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Bring: Your Ingredients

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support or engineering, ideally in a production, logistics, or similarly dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of major operating systems (MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android) and common workplace hardware and printing solutions.
  • Familiarity with corporate tools such as Google Workspace, Azure, Slack, Atlassian, Intune, Jamf, Snipe-IT, or similar systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, real-world solutions for any user.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues, identify patterns, and improve processes.
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN); knowledge of FortiGate firewalls or Cisco technologies is a plus.
  • A valid EU driver’s license is preferred, as occasional travel is required.

Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences. Even if you don’t tick every box, we encourage you to apply. You might be exactly who we’re looking for.
