IT Product Owner - Microsoft SharePoint (all genders)

Your missionAs the IT Product Owner - Microsoft SharePoint, you will be responsible for owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SharePoint and Teams solutions within the organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to understand requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of SharePoint projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SharePoint and Teams along with excellent communication and project management skills.This includes:
- Ownership of SharePoint/Teams Product Strategy:
- Define and communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for SharePoint solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment of SharePoint solutions with business needs.
- Requirements Management:
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements for SharePoint projects, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.
- Project Prioritization and Planning:
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for SharePoint initiative.
- User Experience Design:
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly SharePoint solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Development Oversight:
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of SharePoint solutions, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of SharePoint solutions, including functional, performance, and security testing.
- Change Management and Adoption:
- Develop and execute change management plans to drive user adoption of SharePoint solutions, including training, communication, and support activities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of SharePoint solutions, gather feedback from users, and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience (X years) as a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint
- Strong technical background in Microsoft SharePoint, including expertise in SharePoint Online/Office 365
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in Agile project management tools such as Jira
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Certification in Agile or Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus
- Fluently in English, German is a plus
