We are looking for a

IT Support Specialist

to join our IT team in Helsinki, Ruoholahti.

Our IT team looks after all Rightware's IT infrastructure and services. We manage the company network, Microsoft infrastructure, servers, endpoint devices and software licenses. IT also overseers our cloud services as well as information security. IT participates in many internal development projects as technical specialists and implementers. We also aim to maximize the digitalization of as many processes as possible while keeping bureaucracy at a minimum.

As IT Support Specialist, you will make sure that our employees have the best possible end user experience. You will be working in close collaboration with our Senior IT Systems Administrator and IT Manager to plan and implement changes as a team and independently, and to help the team ensure high-quality end-user support.

In this position you will be working on-site at our office in Helsinki, Ruoholahti. We are flexibly remote, but in this position you are expected to be present in our office approx. 4-5 days a week to be there for your internal customers.

Your primary task within the team is to keep things running and to keep end user satisfaction high. On this small team, you will have a significant impact on the way company performs.

You are an IT support specialist that gets things done. You have just graduated, or you are a self-learnt enthusiast. You are just starting your work career or a rising star. The exact job will be tailored for you based on your strengths and experience.

Your mission as first IT contact point is to help our end users on any IT related issues.

You have:

  • Microsoft environment knowledge (Windows OS, AD, Entra ID (ex Azure AD))
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (especially M365)
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware and peripherals (monitors, printers, etc)
  • Basic network knowledge (Wifi, switches, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
  • Fluent English language skills and the ability to produce IT documentation in English
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A technical mindset (own projects and hobbies are taken into account)
  • Organized way of doing things with an eye for the details

We also appreciate:

  • Linux and macOS knowledge
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure)
  • PowerShell or other scripting language experience
  • Microsoft Intune experience
  • Experience with virtualization
  • Finnish and other language skills
