What You'll Do:

We are looking to add a dynamic Software Engineer to our cryptocurrency trading team. The individual in this role will collaborate extensively with traders, researchers and technologists to evolve, improve, and maintain all elements of the team infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about development and able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced and energetic environment. In this role, a candidate can expect exposure to a wide range of interesting and challenging problems involving high performance computing, software design and big data. Most problems require high-availability, high-throughput and low latency solutions. Other duties as assigned or needed.

The trading team sees technology as a key component of their continued success and candidates will be exposed to interesting cutting-edge technologies.

Skills You’ll Need:

  • At least 5 years of C++ design and programming skills
  • At least 5 years of experience developing real-time software applications
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, IB, etc.) with low level networking knowledge preferred
  • Strong understanding of performance tradeoffs with existing commercial architectures (CPU/GPU/FPGA, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of algorithms and basic understanding of statistics and algebra
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, shell scripting, etc.)
  • Proven individual contributor in a dynamic environment
  • Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
  • Reliable and predictable availability
