Your Role and your team:

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented (Junior) Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team that will shape the future of urban e-mobility. This position is ideal for someone beginning their career in Configuration Management, especially those with a preference for the aerospace industry.   • As part of our team, you will report directly to the Head of Configuration Management.
  • Our team holds a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of top-tier products to the market. This involves not only confirming that the product incorporates the requisite features but also ensuring it undergoes the necessary processes. The role includes planning and maintaining product consistency throughout its lifecycle. Drawing from input provided by our Design Team, we iterate based on feedback from the Production Team and other stakeholders, facilitating the delivery of aircraft through the Configuration, Change, and Requirements management processes we are setting up.
  • In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and success of our aviation products. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting the implementation of our new Configuration, Change, and Requirements management process, ensuring compliance with DOA requirements, as necessary.

 

Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Support the team in Controlling the configuration of Lilium products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Aid the team in Performing configuration management activities and ensure documentation and data management compliance and manage and organize documentation and data generated by Lilium Design Organization and its affiliates.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams for change management and configuration verification with support of our Team when needed.
  • Support administration of Configuration Data Management tools and providing data for KPI generation and reporting.
  • Participate in ad-hoc review meetings on behalf of the Configuration Management Department.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of configuration management processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to manage changes and verify configuration status with support of our Team.
  • Participate in the analysis and resolution of configuration-related issues.

Your Profile:

  • Entry-level experience in the Configuration Management domain, with a preference for Aeronautics/Aerospace experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Data and Documentation Management and working with data repositories is a preference.
  • SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tools, Project Management Tools like Jira would be beneficial.
  • Strong motivation to actively contribute to building and shaping the organization, structures, and processes, and the ability to maintain them effectively.
  • Prominent level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously
  • Target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills, and attention to details
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
