We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst for our Data & Analytics team in Berlin!

At Babbel, our Analytics team is dedicated to creating intuitive yet impactful reporting that drives business and product strategy by generating actionable insights. You will specialize in building Tableau dashboards and SQL data pipelines that support our Marketing, Finance, and Product teams. These analytics products are essential for guiding Babbel’s journey toward profitability, optimizing marketing expenditures, and tracking key progress metrics and KPIs across various business units.

You will:

  • Design and develop engaging Tableau dashboards that provide clear insights into business performance and user engagement.
  • Build and maintain SQL data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data flow for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support to drive informed decision-making.
  • Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement within various business units.
  • Contribute actively towards our Analytics AI initiatives and Self-serve analytics solutions while coming up with innovative ideas yourself.

You have:

  • A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, Tableau expertise is a must.
  • Expertise with SQL and similar querying languages.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Good communication skills to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
