We are looking for developers who are excited by great code that scales well. As a member of our Toronto team, you’ll work with highly-skilled engineers who have been solving problems in this space for quite some time, and have turned HelloFresh into the #1 meal delivery service in the world! You will have the opportunity to design, develop and deploy software solutions in the HelloFresh platform across mobile apps, websites and backend microservices! Our platform serves millions of customers globally and strives to deliver the best experience for our customers and internal users. Your day-to-day routine will be diverse as you have the opportunity to contribute to various applications and brands that differ in their physical product offering. Apart from contributing beautiful, performant & scalable solutions to drive business goals, our culture of learning and development will allow you to hone your technical skills and work on projects that interest you, through dedicated learning time and Chapter days. 

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Computer Science or related educational program, with the ability to commit to a 12 or 16 month term starting May 2024 
• Available within regular business hours (9-5 PM EST) for the length of the co-op term (~40 hours per week, Monday through Friday)
• Experience collaborating and contributing to agile software development teams within professional or academic settings
• Knowledgeable in at least one of the following frontend development libraries or frameworks: React JS, Angular JS, React Native
• Experience developing in one of the following programming languages: Javascript, Python, Go
• Experience with writing unit/integration/function test cases, as well as with formalized testing methodologies (i.e. TDD, BDD, DDD)

• The interview process consists of a 15-20 minute phone screen with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. 
• The phone interview will dive deeper into candidate experience, your fit with the team, and interest in the role/company. 
• Successful candidates from the phone screens stage will move forward into a 1 hour technical interview and a 1 hour final interview. The purpose of the technical interview is to gain a better understanding of projects that students have been working on.
