📣  A bit about the role.

We’re looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Executive to join us as we enter a phase of rapid business growth. We are on a mission to feed more dogs and help them live healthier and happier lives, which you will play a big part in.

As a direct to consumer subscription based business, we have a large emphasis on driving growth through our in-house digital marketing efforts, and we have big targets we want to hit. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Lead (your manager), your role will be to ensure that we are generating a constant stream of quality, influencer led video content that drives potential customers to switch to Butternut Box.

With paid social being one of our biggest channels and creative being our biggest lever to improve paid social performance, this is a fantastic opportunity to have an outsized impact on company performance early on in your career. You’ll have loads of support from the wider team to help you grow into a role where you have real ownership over our creative strategy.

To excel in this role, you’ll need an eye for good creative. That means being able to put yourself in the shoes of a potential customer and think about how we can produce content that best speaks to them. You’ll also need to be strong from an organisational and coordination perspective in order to manage a wide range of workstreams with different influencers, creators and agencies.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with some work-from-home days each week. We expect you to spend 3 days at the Box Office in White City - London, with the possibility of occasional travel to other locations as your role evolves. If you're ready to make a significant impact, join us on this exciting adventure of growth and innovation.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Manage relationships with existing influencers / content creators to ensure that they are providing us with amazing content to use on paid social.
  • Find new talent that we can work with to expand our content creator ‘roster’.
  • Come up with unique creative ideas that we haven’t tried before, turn that idea into a clear brief and then send that brief to content creators you think can best execute on that idea.
  • Work closely with both the Digital Marketing Lead and Digital Marketing Executive to find trends in the creatives that we’re testing to ensure we are getting better over time creatively.
  • Manage our creative production budget to ensure we are generating top creatives at an acceptable cost.

👋  A bit about you.

  • You preferably have 1-2 years of experience in a creative first marketing role. This could be within the context of paid social creative, influencer marketing or organic social content.
  • You’re passionate about coming up with creative ideas and seeing them through to completion. You like the idea of a role where you can focus all your time on the creative process within paid social.
  • You like working in a role with clear business impact. Your day to day work will have a big impact on our success in a key business area.
  • You have a willingness to be versatile and eager to learn new skills
  • You’re excellent at communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You share our belief that dogs deserve better!
