Junior FrontEnd Developer
The Junior Front-End Developer (JFED) is the most junior position for combined front-end work. As such, an JFED is responsible for completing front-end tasks under supervision. An JFED must be comfortable with front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, collaborating with the development and creative teams, hands-on coding, maintaining templates and creating simple front-end solutions from scratch.
You will:
- Responsible for translating graphic designs delivered in composition documents into standard compliant HTML and CSS code
- Understanding and manipulate data and structure of XML and JSON formats
- Works closely with Creative, Business, Technology and QA teams to ensure quality and punctual software development
- Based on the client’s needs and requirements complete simple front-end related tasks for web applications
- Debugs or troubleshoots simple issues in existing web applications
- Understand requirements based on both technical and UI/UX needs; usability best practices; brand and style guides
You have:
- At least 1 – 2 years of experience working with Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- English Proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversation).
- Knowledge of web standards (HTML5, CSS2/3) and practices (W3C).
- Knowledge in at least one major mainstream JavaScript library or framework (eg. jQuery, Angular, Ember, Backbone, React, VueJS). (NTH)
- Experience translating simple requirements into web solutions.
- Experience debugging or troubleshooting web applications.
- Knowledge of Web Accessibility is a plus.Knowledge or management of any CMS is a plus.
