We are now looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house Digital Publishing team. The ideal candidate will be familiar and comfortable with corporate guidelines yet can produce interesting and visually engaging layouts. 

The Junior Graphic Designer must be able to work quickly and fluidly through all phases of the design process: from research, to concept, to design, and final execution. Ambitious candidates with a good eye for detail who are enthusiastic about excellent design will excel in this role. You will be an integral part of the team, working on design projects from concept to production and final execution. We are looking for someone who will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, with good attention to detail and an eye for good composition and layout.

What you will be doing: 

  • Design infographics and image sourcing for Mintel products;
  • Prepare designs for Mintel’s internal and external communications;
  • Deliver work accurately and to deadline
  • Develop and marry information design with engaging visual outputs
  • Work independently, as well as cooperatively, with a variety of groups across the business

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Ability to create engaging designs to brand guidelines for digital (predominantly) and print implementation;
  • Have an eye for detail, a creative mind-set and good organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts;
  • Proven competence of working in a similar environment and have excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign;
  • The capability to understand data and data visualisation concepts;
  • Experience with MS Office and Miro board tools helpful, but not required;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
