As the Junior IT Portfolio Manager, you will take on a key responsibility on data accuracy, reporting, and process reliability, helping us manage software tools more efficiently. You'll work with advanced Google Sheets to track active vs. inactive users, validate data, and support SaaS lifecycle management., contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do
  • Process Gatekeeping & Compliance: Serve as a key approver for software Purchase Requisitions in Workday, meticulously verifying that every request complies with our established procurement policies and has the necessary documentation.
  • Service Desk Ownership: Manage and resolve day-to-day SaaS requests submitted through our Jira Service Desk, providing timely support and clear communication to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Software & License Optimization: Actively drive cost savings by identifying and reclaiming unused software licenses, supporting software consolidation projects, and ensuring our license data is consistently accurate.
  • Financial & Data Accuracy: Support the team by tracking software spend, assisting with monthly financial reporting, and maintaining data integrity in our SaaS management platform.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient software lifecycle.
What you’ll bring
    • 1–3 years of experience in IT procurement, software asset management, FinOps, or a similar operational role.
    • Procurement Systems: Hands-on experience with procurement or ERP systems (Workday is a significant plus).
    • Service Desk Tools: Proficiency with ticketing systems (Jira Service Management is highly preferred).
    • Numerically Literate: Strong comfort with numbers and spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) for tracking financial data, spend, and license counts.
    • IT & SaaS Awareness: A solid understanding of software licensing models and the SaaS lifecycle. Experience with SaaS Management Platforms (e.g., Trelica, Zylo) is a plus.

    • Analytical Problem-Solver: You can identify process inefficiencies or cost-saving opportunities and enjoy finding practical, effective solutions.
    • Clear & Professional Communicator: You can explain process requirements and decisions clearly and professionally to various stakeholders in English.
