Junior Operational Excellence Engineer

What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and support Lean Six Sigma yellow belt projects to execute identified opportunities. Proactively update key stakeholders at all levels of the business on project progress and identify risks/escalations, with the support of your line manager
- Use lean methods and structured problem solving to identify opportunities and facilitate improvement within the business.
- Design, monitor and report on project related KPIs, whilst adapting and implementing KPIs appropriately to achieve business goals.
- Continuously improve existing standards and processes to drive operational excellence. Ensure all process documentation created follows defined standards.
- Collaborate internally, cross-functionally with other departments, up to head of level, to identify and resolve issues, share best practices and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Identify key stakeholders, build and maintain strong working relationships to support project delivery.
- Coach and support individuals and departments in tools such as lean, problem solving and performance management to drive best practice.

Who You Are:
- You have experience in continuous improvement and are able to demonstrate:
- Identifying and leading small change initiatives
- Supporting the delivery of cross functional projects
- Turning data into clear actionable insights
- You have knowledge of and experience in applying Lean Six Sigma tools
- You take ownership of your projects and pride yourself on the quality of delivery
- Collaborating with others and continuously challenging the status quo comes naturally to you
- You thrive in fast paced, high pressure environments and relish a challenge

Location: The Beehive, Bermuda Industrial Estate, 1 St Georges Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7JS
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
