The role

We have a number of key projects due for delivery throughout 2024 & beyond, & are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to primarily support the existing legacy supply chain systems, whilst preparing for exciting future developments in automation. 

Based primarily out of our Sydney Operational site in Pemulwuy, you’ll be reporting to our Operational Excellence Lead. You will help in making sure our various operational sites in Australia & New Zealand are equipped with leading edge technologies & the knowledge to succeed. Training of the specific in-house systems will be provided through our local & Global tech teams, alongside our key technology partners. In this role you will need to have the availability to work Tues-Sat (note our hybrid working policy, however Saturday presence on site is mandatory).

What you’ll do
  • Work within our Downstream Supply Chain team, to continuously improve key KPIs at the production & logistics facilities
  • Assist in the definition of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to production control systems, and existing automated infrastructure
  • Support other team members in delivering key projects within our operational facilities. 
  • Train local key users in SOPs 
  • Provide critical on-site technical support to Production Teams to assist in troubleshooting & root cause analysis of key system incidents. 
  • Provide critical feedback to AU & Global technical teams for future designs. 
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s Engineering degree, majoring in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Automation or Electrical.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and technologies related to automation systems.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and are comfortable with hands-on work.
  • Confident working in an autonomous role & delivering on critical project deadlines
  • Creative, solutions focused & excited by a challenge
  • Organised, with strong time management skills
  • Ability to travel within AU on occasion to our other operational sites in Brisbane, Melbourne & Perth
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word) &/or GSuite 
  • Full Australian Drivers Licence

Preferred but not essential…

  • Experience with production/process line manufacturing.
  • Experience procuring new equipment, defining specifications, unit testing, and implementation.
  • Experience creating procedures, & providing training on related equipment and processes
  • Experience liaising with vendors and technical support on equipment issues and maintenance
  • Experience in implementing process improvements within a production environment

Start Date: Immediately Available - can wait a notice period

Duration: Full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia. Please note that you must have availability to work Tues-Sat 

Location: Pemulwuy, New South Wales (with requirement for occasional travel within AU
