We are looking for a Junior Ops Tech Analyst for our ambitious team in Bleiswijk. Working in the Production OPS-Systems & Data team, you will play a key role in translating the vast amount of data into meaningful insights that help drive new business initiatives and take our data-driven approach at production to the next level.

In this role you will be working closely with the Data Manager and OPS-Tech team in production, with various global cross-functional teams, and you will become part of the cross-team Benelux Business Analytics Chapter.

The creation of a Data Management domain within our production team has helped to boost the data-driven mindset within the production team. With the initial foundation for data analytics being laid, we are now looking for an OPS Tech Analyst that is able to utilise these exciting new data products and technologies for the creation of high-impact insights and even potential production process improvements based on these insights.

Our ambitious future plans would include the use of near-real time analytics, operations research, simulation and optimization to help fulfil our analytics strategy. To help accomplish this, the team is incorporating cross-market best practices, which include time-series analytics, Amazon AWS, Apache Airflow, and various in-house ETL solutions. These future projects would include:

• Various forecasting projects to aid in improved resource planning
• Automated error categorization and optimization
• Near-real time production preparation monitoring
• Modelling of our kitting process and its associated parameters

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

• Distil actionable insights from a highly varied data landscape to improve our performance on several KPIs and OKRs, such as minutes-per-box, error percentage and physical waste percentages.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to support operational, tactical and strategic decision making
• Collaborate with our Data Manager in rolling out data management best practices and policies using DAMA-standards
• Define new valuable data opportunities and present important improvements to stakeholders (both on the shop floor as well as in the office).
• All in collaboration with our Amsterdam based Data Engineering team, our Berlin based Global Tech teams, and of course your colleagues in Production in Bleiswijk.

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

• You have a University degree in a data-related topic (such as Informatics, Information Sciences, Data Sciences or Technical Business Administration)
• You have 1 to 3 years of work experience as a data analyst or similar role
• You’re fluent in writing SQL (you are able to retrieve data from our data warehouse and are familiar with CTE’s and materialized views)
• You have extensive experience in creating data visualizations (dashboarding and reporting, experience with Tableau is a plus)
• Coding experience in Python is a plus
• You are curious and proactive and can use these traits to identify opportunities for improvements
• You’re able to translate business questions into data solutions
• You’re able to provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to stakeholders
• Fluent in English (speaking Dutch is a plus)
