About the Team

Our People Operations team ensures every SumUpper across Spain, France, Italy, Ireland, and the UK has the tools, processes, and support they need to thrive. We handle everything from onboarding and contracts to benefits and compliance — helping our colleagues have a smooth and positive experience from day one.

We’re now looking for a Junior People Operations Assistant to join our Barcelona office. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on HR experience across multiple European countries, working closely with our international People Operations team.

📅 Duration: 12 months🎓 Eligibility: You must have graduated from a university program within the last 3 years

 

What You’ll Do
  • Support HR administration, including preparation of contracts, addenda, and off-boarding documentation
  • Manage data entry and updates in Workday, ensuring accurate employee records for payroll and compliance
  • Coordinate with new joiners to collect required personal data and documents
  • Track onboarding processes and collaborate with IT and Field Sales trainers to ensure smooth starts for new hires
  • Maintain and update internal Notion and HR pages related to policies and procedures
  • Gain exposure to international HR practices across Spain, France, Italy, Ireland, and the UK

 

You’ll Be Great for This Role If
  • You have a recent degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, or a related field (graduated within the past 3 years)
  • You’re fluent in both Spanish and English, written and spoken (essential for daily communication)
  • You hold a valid work permit for Spain for at least 12 months
  • You’re organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks
  • You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Google Workspace and Excel
