About the role

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and supervising high transaction volume Java Enterprise Edition applications designed and developed by us. The everyday routine includes handling customer cases reported and managed through the case management tool and providing pro-active supervision for the Syncron applications. The nature of the customer cases can be very broad, from a simple application functionality question to a complex technical or business inquiry requiring thorough understanding of both the application logic and the customer business to resolve it.

What would you do?
  • Provide Technical and Business Support to our customers
  • Configure Syncron’s products to fulfil customer’s needs
  • Gather, analyse, and document customer requirements
  • Identify and report enhancement ideas and bugs and channel feedback from the customers
  • Manage cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner in the ticketing tool
  • Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues
  • Publish documentation in the Knowledge Base, create/maintain issue logs, resolution steps
  • Provide configurations, troubleshooting, and best practices to customers
  • Ensure that SLAs are strictly adhered to
What we expect:
  • Technical support experience
  • SQL knowledge (preferred: PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as PowerBI and Tableau 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computers, or another equivalent field
  • Fluency in English (Swedish is not required 😉)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • High sense of urgency and accountability
  • Nice to have: Java code reading
