Position Overview

The Stepstone Data & Software Engineering Team in Zurich develops and maintains a modern web application, built with Angular and ASP.Net. As an Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining existing code and developing new features in collaboration with other software developers. You will also ensure a proper documentation and code versioning of the tools.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop well-designed and clean code.
• Build prototypes to prove out design concepts.
• Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns and tools.
• Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability.
• Document concepts, interfaces and configuration options.
• Respond to and handle change requests promptly.
• Constantly identify areas for improvement.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or similar areas of study OR 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience in modern web development with JavaScript.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiar with Angular and basic web technologies like HTML and CSS.
• Strong coding and problems solving skills.
• Ability and Motivation to learn new things quickly.
• Experience in applying common design patterns.
• Experience with Git.

• Willingness to work independently and take responsibility.
