As a Business Analyst, Lead you will support in growing the content ecosystem, by providing actionable insights.You will be combining your quantitative analysis and data mining skills with insights that will inform the development of educational resources including best practices. You will collaborate with global teams on a wide array of  business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Content, Product Marketing, Business Operations, and Marketing. The results of your work will impact content supply, product adoption, identify actionable opportunities, turning your insights and analyses into practical resources for content producers and Pinterest’s Content team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and interpret analyses as well as insights that inform educational resources for content producers.
  • Develop dashboards and presentations to visualize data.
  • Synthesize large amounts of data from disparate sources and communicate the results in a clear and effective manner to peers and senior stakeholders with various technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor key metrics and provide timely insights on performance of enablement resources (usage, trends, adoption).
  • Leverage internal ETL/ELT tools to build and maintain foundational datasets.
  • Work collaboratively with various cross-functional teams and proactively seek and incorporate feedback into deliverables.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in business and data analytics in demanding and highly analytical environments.
  • Fluency in SQL and hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker. Bonus points for experience in Python (or similar scripting languages), but not required.
  • ETL/ELT experience with tools like dbt, airflow or similar.
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, building dashboards and tools with proven ability to to solve real-world problems on web-scale data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the  ability to explain learnings to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • A team player who’s able to partner with cross-functional leadership to quickly turn insights into actions.
