Rightware, based in Helsinki and with presence in 7 other countries, is a collection of 120+ experts in gaming, graphics and UI development, focused on delivering Kanzi, our advanced HMI toolchain.

As Lead Cloud Engineer / Architect, you will work closely with our DevOps team, helping us organize and create cloud solutions. More specifically:

Cloud Architecture & Implementation

  • Design, optimize, and secure AWS cloud solutions to support business needs.
  • Lead cloud migration, microservices, and serverless adoption.
  • Ensure seamless integration between infrastructure, applications, and operations.

Leadership & Compliance

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
  • Ensure seamless cloud integration with development and operations.
  • Manage cloud security, risk assessments, and compliance

Optimization & Innovation

  • Optimize AWS performance, cost, and automation using CDK & CloudFormation
  • Implement automation for efficiency and faster deployment
  • Stay updated on AWS innovations to refine strategies and adapt to change

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in cloud engineering, with 3+ years in a senior or lead role
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing secure, scalable AWS solutions in production environments
  • Expertise in AWS infrastructure, security, networking, and automation
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Strong background in cloud migration, cost optimization, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + AWS)

Experience with ML/GPU systems is a plus.
