Pinterest’s Small Business team connects small businesses with their customers and helps them grow. We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee our Sales Development Team that handles the first step of our New Business acquisition sales motion. The SMB Industry Manager will drive our go-to-market strategy, building scalable sales programs and processes. Success in this position requires a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales, and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a New Business Acquisition sales team across Latam Markets, delivering against quarterly activations and revenue goals
- Develop and deploy sales programs for different lead sources and business types
- Define the operations sales strategy by developing and standardizing operations systems to empower the team to operate at scale
- Achieve business goals through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
- Clearly, communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders across time zones
- Motivate and develop sales talent, creating a positive culture of accountability
- Work cross-functionally and build cohesive partnerships with internal stakeholders including product, sales operations, and marketing
- Manage relationship with Pinterest’s vendor partner
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising and sales leadership
- Demonstrated track record of leading sales teams to exceed quotas
- Ability to extract insights from data to inform strategic decisions
- Experience creating sales motions or programs in a sales organization
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Ability and willingness to get your hands dirty - from SFDC reporting to call coaching, this leader will need to be able to go deep selectively to help inform the broader strategic vision
- Experienced in process management, operations management, with a strong understanding how to grow and scale businesses
- Experience working with outsourced vendors is a plus
- Fluent in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity software
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish language skills are a plus

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration once to twice per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Mexico City office.
