How you can help make a better world of work

Culture Amp is seeking a Lead Designer with expertise in systems thinking for B2B or Enterprise software to join our Innovation Studio Team. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the future of our platform by identifying patterns and designing high level solutions to drive alignment, inform technical solutions and coordinate planning with product teams.

Reporting to Culture Amp’s Chief Designer, you will lead efforts to envision platform unification, innovative cross-product workflows and AI capabilities. In tight collaboration with user researchers and people scientists, you’ll leverage deep human insights to unlock value for users. You’ll make bold ideas tangible and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify roadmappable big bets that make progress towards our vision.

You’ll leverage technology developments combined with design knowledge to evolve design processes and uplift craft across the practice. As a functional leader, you’ll mentor designers and contribute to our design communities of practice. You will lead playback and co-creation workshops to integrate bold ideas into product roadmaps and guide product strategy.

You've built your career by working on complex software for multiple user types, driving consistency and streamlined workflows. You’ve worked on industry-leading products that deliver value for the people who use them, and for the businesses that deliver them. You have your finger on the pulse of innovation in design systems, cutting edge patterns and workflows.

The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of creativity and systems thinking, is detail-oriented, and excels at simplifying complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. 

As part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will 

  • Shape the future vision of our platform by aligning design principles, patterns and guidelines with the broader product strategy.
  • Use a variety of mapping and design storytelling methods to paint a picture of holistic, systems-based solutions.
  • Leverage human centered insights and people science as a source for innovation.
  • Collaborate tightly with designers to innovate on how we take a unified systems-first approach.
  • Partner with the design systems team on implementation of patterns and templates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product organisation to identify roadmappable projects that move us towards our vision.
  • Mentor designers and contribute to our design communities of practice.
  • Leverage  developments combined with design knowledge to evolve design processes and uplift craft across the practice.

You have 

  • 5+ years experience in a design-related field.
  • A portfolio of high quality case studies, demonstrating designing for complex software.
  • Experience working with diverse cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making at multiple levels of an organisation.
  • Experience developing a range of design artifacts to tell a story and drive alignment.
  • Experience designing enterprise software leveraging a mature design system.
