Leadership Development Manager

The role of Manager, Leadership Development has a critical role to play in this journey. The People Team is currently focused on building an organization that can continue to scale at the pace of MongoDB, as well as rolling out and embedding a new framework for culture that we call the Leadership Commitment. The Commitment defines expectations for every person at MongoDB, including our people leaders, and these expectations collectively define our culture. The Manager of Leadership Development will support the design, delivery, and management of results-driven leadership programs for our people managers.
This role is a part of the Culture, Talent and Development Team, a Center of Excellence on the People Team. The Culture, Talent and Development team is responsible for sustaining and growing our culture and employees through leadership development and learning, talent processes, organizational development, engagement, and inclusion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and facilitation of live Leadership Development programs, directly and indirectly through train-the-trainer strategies
- Influencing and helping other teams to embed leadership development into existing trainings
- Program management for manager training programs, creating efficient and scalable solutions for enrollment, accountability and impact measurement
- Program management for coaching & mentoring programs, including vendor management & invoicing, internal stakeholder alignment, participation & impact measurement.
- Design on demand learning experiences, aligned to our content roadmap, that will facilitate strong learning outcomes for diverse learning audiences (role, language, learning style, etc.)
- 5-7 years of experience in designing and delivering learning and leadership development programs, in a program management role.
- Strong track record in delivering strategic and tactical solutions in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Excellence in instructional design, creating engaging and effective learning experiences across multiple formats: classroom (in person, virtual, and hybrid), on demand (courses, microlearning, videos, etc.) and more
- Excellence in facilitating leadership development experience, including subject matter expertise on common Leadership & management skills (performance management, communication, inclusion, etc.) and presentation skills
- Excellence in learning program management (needs assessment, design, impact measurement, etc.)
- Experience managing external vendors, including independent contractors and coaches, to complement internal learning and development offerings
- Experience customizing experiences and content to meet the needs of individual business units
- Excellence in written communication, and project documentation
- Excellence in communicating and presenting, especially with executive audiences
- Prior experience managing learning on an LMS, Docebo preferred
- Certifications: Coaching, StrengthsFinder, Crucial Conversations
- Proficiency in course authoring software, Articulate Rise preferred

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$62,000—$121,000 USD
