As a Lead Data Analytics in the Customer Analytics team at Personio, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our team of analysts. Your mission is to transform data into strategic insights that drive business decisions and optimize processes. With your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will guide your team to be strategic partners for our stakeholders, delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, B2B SaaS environment.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Drive Strategic Partnerships: Lead your team to become strategic partners for senior stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and goals.

  • Develop Strategic Road Maps: Maintain and execute a strategic road map that aligns with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

  • Engage with Senior Stakeholders: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations directly to senior stakeholders.

  • Hands-on Execution: Spend approximately 50% of your time working as an analyst, executing tasks and projects to ensure deep involvement in the technical and analytical work

  • Elevate Technical Expertise: Oversee the development of advanced data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions using your skills in Tableau, SQL, and dbt.

  • Optimize Processes: Set the direction for data initiatives, making tactical decisions to optimize processes and measure impact.

  • Lead and Develop Team: Hire, onboard, support, motivate, and develop your team to achieve optimal performance and embody Personio Principles.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a leader in data analytics, with 4-5 years minimum as an analyst.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Tableau, SQL, and dbt, with a strong background in data modelling, visualization, and analytics.

  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to drive teams to become strategic partners for stakeholders with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and goals, developing and maintaining strategic road maps.

  • High Standards of Execution: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards in organization, impact measurement, communication, and alignment.

  • People Leadership: Experience in hiring, onboarding, and developing teams to their full potential, providing clear guidance and support.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex data insights clearly and tailor messages to different audiences, fostering effective collaboration.
