About this team and role:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective training programs in a scaling tech company. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on upskilling our workforce, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting our culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Needs Assessment:  Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skills gaps and develop tailored training solutions in partnership with People Partners
  • Training Program Development:  Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with company goals and support the development of technical and interpersonal skills. 
  • Facilitation: Facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, using various instructional techniques and formats.
  • Onboarding: Manage and deliver the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the company.
  • Evaluation: Implement evaluation methodologies to assess the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with business objectives and support organizational growth including People Business Partners, Diversity & Inclusion, Programs, and more.
  • Culture Building: Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably within a scaling tech company.
  • Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with e-learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Ability to analyze data and assess training needs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
