Lease Analyst
Our Opportunity: At Chewy, westrive too become the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents and our partners – vets and service providers – alike. Our success is measured by the happiness of the people and pets we serve, not simply by the amount of pet supplies we deliver. That’s why we continue to think of outside-the-Chewy-box ways to delight, surprise, and thank our loyal pet lovers. Chewy is looking for a Real Estate Analyst to support lease administration efforts for our fulfillment centers, customer care centers, pharmacies, and corporate offices. This role will report to the Director of Real Estate Procurement. As part of the Real Estate Procurement team, the Analyst will serve as a key liaison between internal partners and external landlords, ensuring accuracy in lease documentation, timely payments, and overall compliance with lease terms.
This role can be based in Plantation, FL, or Bellevue, WA.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and update the lease administration database with accurate and current lease information, including key dates, payment schedules, and critical clauses.
- Review lease agreements and related documents for new sites, amendments, terminations, and renewals across all Chewy Operations facilities.
- Coordinate lease-related payments in partnership with the Accounting and Finance teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track critical dates and provide proactive notifications to internal Team Members.
- Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Facilities, and Construction teams to ensure lease compliance and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to lease obligations, occupancy metrics, and portfolio summaries.
- Handle a shared Real Estate mailbox, respond to landlord inquiries, resolve disputes, and support lease audits as needed.
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the organization on ad hoc projects that deliver results or tackle complex issues in their day-to-day responsibilities.
What You’ll Need:
- 1–2 years of experience in lease administration, real estate, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with lease administration platforms (e.g., Visual Lease, Yardi) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, a passion for learning, and a desire to challenge the status quo.
