About the role
  • Executes omnichannel CRM campaigns and works with the Lifecycle Marketing team to ensure that Braze campaigns are delivered promptly. 
  • Ensure operational processes are upheld and the ESP functions according to standard methodologies.
  • Introduce new features and address any gaps brought up by third-party and internal audits.
  • Understand the end-to-end journey for global streaming and shop services and can meet all the requirements to run planned lifecycle management strategies.
  • Work with the Lifecycle team lead to forecast CRM operations capacity based on business requirements and marketing calendars.
  • Manage and monitor the audience segment list's health, monitor deliverability, troubleshoot issues, and work with partners to stay compliant across contracts, internal policies and international regulations.
  • Work with analytics and data engineering teams to automate reporting, build dashboards, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly insights.
  • Stay on top of new technologies, standard methodologies, and competitive insights to provide recommendations on new technical solutions as they align with organizational goals.
  • Provide improvements across email, push, in-app metrics, including conversion rates by enabling the team with system best practices.
  • Help accomplish marketing requirements, understand use cases, and provide insights and feedback to broader teams to improve campaign delivery
  • Coordinate experimentation and learning agenda roadmaps in partnership with the Lifecycle Marketing team

In the role of Lifecycle Marketing Operations Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing Operations. 

We are considering applicants for the location(s) of San Francisco or Culver City, CA. 

About You
  • 5+ years of Marketing Technology or Product Management experience, specifically leading email operations and marketing data integrations for high-growth marketing organizations.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Braze ESP with email operations leadership, email development, and quality assurance.
  • Experience building and managing customer segmentation across multiple channels and data sources.
  • Experience working with growth marketing frameworks, acquisition, lead nurture campaigns, and retention strategies.
  • Experience with CDP solutions (i.e. Segment).
  • Experience working in high-growth companies, subscription businesses, and start-ups.
  • Technical proficiency requirements:
    • HTML development for landing pages, emails, and in-app messages
    • Google Analytics, Google Tag Management and other web metrics systems; and specifically, how marketing cloud can interact with other platforms
    • Web optimization and CMS tools like Optimizely or WordPress
About the Team

The Retention and Engagement Team is responsible for marketing to our fans, supporting our streaming service, e-commerce, and events businesses. The team consists of experts in lifecycle, product, and integrated marketing functions, setting strategy and execution of consumer-facing campaigns that engage and inspire fans. We work with our broader Content Discovery, Engagement and Retention organization, with important partnerships within Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
