Logistics Sr. Projects Analyst
Team Description
As a Senior Logistics Projects Analyst at SumUp, you will be directly involved in optimizing and driving logistical initiatives across the Americas (Brazil, LATAM, and US markets). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and improve cost-effectiveness through process automation and system integration. This role requires strong project management skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to balance operational needs with strategic goals.
What you’ll do
- Own the full project lifecycle for logistics initiatives: scope definition, business case development, timeline creation, resource planning, risk management, execution, and post-implementation review.
- Map and analyze warehouse and transportation flows to identify productivity gains, capacity constraints, and service improvements.
- Develop data-driven recommendations using KPIs, financial modeling, and scenario analyses; present findings to senior leadership.
- Lead RFP processes and vendor negotiations for 3PL services across the Americas (Brazil, US, and Latam), ensuring SLA adherence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Projects, and Automation teams to architect and implement integrated logistics solutions that enhance connectivity between WMS, TMS, and order systems.
- Track project financials, validate savings or ROI, and ensure accurate booking to the appropriate cost centers.
- Champion best practices in project management (Agile/PMI), change management, and stakeholder communication in English and Portuguese (Spanish will be a nice-to-have).
You’ll be great for this role if
- You have advanced analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems using data.
- You are proficient with data analytics tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau; experience with WMS/TMS platforms is a plus.
- You have experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish as a bonus.
- You are proactive, results-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- You have strong communication skills and can effectively present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- You have a customer-centric mindset with a focus on operational impact and service improvement.
- You are adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Nice to have experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the payment or e-commerce industries.
