About the role

DataCamp is a cloud-oriented company with a global presence. Our employees are located in 3 locations: New York (US), Leuven (BE), London (UK), or working remotely. We are a team of people with varying skill sets, from technical DevOps engineers to enthusiastic salespeople.

You will be responsible for supporting and enabling our internal teams, in-person and remote, and maintaining our internal SaaS based systems. You will be exposed to many different technologies like Okta, Google Workplace, MS365, Atlassian Jira, Servicedesk, Jamf, and Make. As such, you will not be expected to know everything, but expected to be resourceful in finding solutions.

As IT Support Engineer, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills with an eagerness to learn and do more. You will need a “yes, I can” attitude. You’re always looking for opportunities to improve our corporate IT environment and asking what else can be done to help. 

You will play a key part in the day-to-day corporate IT operations, support for internal IT systems and, together with the People Business partner, the main contact in the London office for workplace-related questions and tasks.  You will have the opportunity to impact and drive future improvements and owning your day-to-day work. 

 

Working odd hours on occasion and traveling between offices (New York, London, Leuven) may be required. You will report to the Head of IT.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support DataCamp Staff in their IT operations
  • Onboard and welcome new joiners and Manage Access
  • Maintain accurate Asset Management records
  • Ensure up-to-date Endpoint Security
  • Managing DataCamp’s internal infrastructure and Saas applications. 
  • Keep systems compliant with internal security standards
  • Document support and operations processes
  • Execute projects to improve systems and operations
  • Assist in preparation for infosec audits
  • Assist with IT hardware and software procurement
  • Assist with London office workplace and event management

 

The ideal candidate 

  • Ability to help DataCamp employees solve software problems and Apple hardware products, including laptops, desktops, phones, and accessories.
  • Experience with hosted productivity and communications applications, including Google Workspace, MS Office, Zoom, Okta, Slack, and other commonly used SaaS systems, and the ability to support onsite and remote employees.

  • Resourcefulness – the ability to figure things out
  • Good Knowledge of MacOS and Google Workplace
  • Knowledge of JAMF, Okta, and Atlassian is a plus.
  • Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly Atlassian products, is a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to remote offices

 

It’s a plus if 

  • You have the ability to support and assist employees using AV systems, both on-site and remotely
  • You are a Jamf Certified Admin or Jamf Certified Expert

You have experience with automation tools like Make, Atlassian automation, Slack Workflows, …

  • You have experience working in an ISO 27001 or SOC2-certified environment
