We are looking for a Machine Operator II, you will be responsible for the operation of our production equipment. You will ensure that production goals are met, machine uptime is maximized, and employee safety is paramount. 

You will…
  • Operate advanced and integrated machinery (Automated Cook Lines, Vacuum Tumblers, Bowl Choppers, etc)
  • Follow complex operating manuals and standard procedures
  • Monitor equipment and perform basic troubleshooting for problems and jams
  • Change over materials, run test checks, setup and teardowns, cleanover preparations
  • Lead or coordinate efforts between machine support teams like quality, sanitation and material handling
  • Escalate issues to maintenance for necessary repairs or replacement parts
  • Conduct regular machine status inspections and oversee cleanover activities
  • Assist maintenance and operations personnel as needed. Communicate regularly with leadership to monitor machine performance relative to production schedules.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and of significant concerns. Report major concerns or significant problems.
  • Support machine status records and performance over time to improve efficiency
You are…
  • Mechanically-inclined: you’re comfortable operating heavy machinery and have a natural curiosity about how things work; you are extremely comfortable handling tools and materials
  • Detail Oriented: you’re able to understand components of a machine and what they do. You can follow instructions to the letter and think critically about when something is not aligned.
  • Strong Communicator: you’re able to identify an operating or safety risk and notify leadership immediately
  • Agile: you roll with the punches and don’t get overwhelmed easily; you have a track record of adapting quickly and driving results in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments
  • Gritty: you are willing to work in refrigerated environments with food product and get messy

 

You have…
  • 2+ years machine operating experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • English fluency required
  • Spanish second language preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
  • Able to operate power tools and functions safely and effectively
  • Comfortable working in cold environments with some areas of facility at 40⠁F
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
